Two hot local acts have been added to the music programme for this year’s Carlow Arts Festival.
Jeremy Hickey aka R.S.A.G. will play the O’Hara’s Pavilion on the Saturday night while Exiles have been added to the bill as support to The Strypes.
R.S.A.G.’s new single, Meet You There, is out 28 April.
Today FM’s Kelly-anne Byrne is adding a funk and soul touch to the late night scene while a festival favourite around the country, Sing Along Social, heads to the Pavilion on Sunday evening.
Festival director Jo Mangan made the announcement on KCLR Drive on Monday afternoon.
They join a bill that already includes 2017’s Choice Music Prize winners Rusangano Family (June 9), The Strypes (June 10) and Stomptown Brass (June 11) with more acts already in the wild.
This year’s festival runs in Carlow from 7-13 June with early bird ticket sales finishing this week. Find more details at CarlowArtsFestival.com.
