Tullow came away from a trip to Longford yesterday in the Leinster League with a 20 points to 12 win in Division 1B, while County Carlow had a good win over Edenderry in Division 2A, 28-7 is how it finished.
In Ladies Rugby, the Carlow Coyotes lost to Mullingar 5-0 while Suttonians defeated Kilkenny 11-5.
On Saturday Kilkenny defeated Clondalkin by 28-19 in Foulkestown. Wes Carter, Evan Dixon, Hugh o Brien and Podge Mahon all scored first half tries for Kilkenny with Rory McInerney adding the conversions.
Remarkably Clondalkin scored 19 unanswered points in 2nd half but Kilkenny held on for a badly needed victory.
