Carlow’s Willie Mullins has confirmed that he will not be training the horses owned by Ryanair boss, Michael O’Leary.
Mr O’Leary owns Gigginstown House Stud and they have now removed all 60 of their horses from the Mullins yard today
Mullins, who’s one of Ireland’s most successful trainers, says that the split is because he’s put up his fees for the first time in ten years.
He says he’s not willing to maintain the standards he has without increasing his charges.
Gigginstown have released a statement confirming the move adding they could not agree terms with Mullins.
They says they hope an agreement can be reached in the future for Mullins to work with them again.
