Saturday Brunch
Saturday Brunch: 18 April 2015
Robert Gogan is an author, publisher, and also a playwright and actor with his theatrical piece ‘Strolling Through Ulysses’.
In his quest to make James Joyce’s Ulysses more accessible to a wider readership, he spent 6 years punctuating and reformatting Ulysses and published his work in June 2012 under the title of “Ulysses by James Joyce: Remastered by Robert Gogan”.
Strolling Through Ulysses is a 75 minute lighthearted whistle-stop tour through Joyce’s famous novel, highlighting the fun, action and characters of the book.
Robert joined us in studio to talk about Strolling Through Ulysses and to perform a short extract from the play.
Robert will be performing Strolling Through Ulysses in the Stone House Bookshop on Thursday April 23rd at 7pm.
