Emergency services were called to a fire at Lidl in Thomastown last night.
Shortly before midnight an amount of equipment beside the store – which is being used by builders doing stone-cobbling work – caught fire.
Gardaí and the Fire Service were called to the scene and the fire was quickly put out.
Gardaí say it appears to have been caused by an electrical fault but the scene will be examined by Scenes of Crime Investigators this morning.
