The search is on for a man who helped a local woman in plight in Kilkenny city.
It’s understood his name is Mike, he’s possibly aged in his early forties and is tall, about six feet, and was cycling over Green’s Bridge at about 10:30/11pm on Monday, 12th August.
He was coming from Set Theatre at Langton’s where Niamh Regan’s gig had been talking place as part of the Kilkenny Arts Festival when he came across a woman considering entering the River Nore and stopped to talk to her.
That lady and her friend now want to get in touch with Mike to say thank you as his simple, kind action had a powerful impact.
