The family of missing Kilkenny woman Jo Jo Dullard have appealed again for anybody with information on her disappearance to come forward.
She’s now been missing for three decades, with a number of searches carried out over the years.
Yesterday those investigating her case as well as that of Deirdre Jacob began a search operation at a quarry between Blessington and Baltinglass in Wicklow, close to the border with Kildare with large volumes of soil excavated there.

Wicklow Councillor Jason Mulhall hopes their families can find closure, saying; “I think these cases stayed in particular in the public conciousness for decades now, people across Wicklow and Kildare still remember them so I think any news of a search like this is deeply felt in the local communities”.
He adds; “I think the main hope is that the families might finally get some clarity and some form of closure, I think that’s what matters most after so many years”.
