Search operation underway in Mooncoin for missing 21-year-old man

Update: 15:45pm: Gardaí confirm that the body recovered earlier was that of 21-year-old Kieran Walsh. Foul play has been ruled out.

Update 1pm: A body has been recovered in the Mooncoin area this afternoon during the search for a missing 21-year-old man. More developing on air.
A search is being carried out in Mooncoin, Co Kilkenny this morning for a missing 21-year-old man.
Kieran Walsh who’s from Tipperary went missing from Waterford city in the early hours of Friday morning.
Gardaí have confirmed to KCLR news that they have a definite sighting of Mr Walsh on CCTV in Mooncoin on Friday morning.
Gardaí, the civil defence, the garda dog unit and the coast guard are all assisting with the search today.
