Security measures being introduced at Carlow Town Park

Better CCTV, security people and constant liaising with the Gardaí are the measures to be introduced at Carlow Town Park.
A meeting was held between senior council staff and local representatives yesterday following concerns over anti-social behaviour including violence in the park.
Locals claim that they’re often afraid to bring their children there because of intimidation from groups of young people.
Director of Services with Carlow County Council, Séamus O’Connor told KCLR News that they’re committed to tackling this straight away.
