Pat O’Neill has pulled out of the race to win the Fine Gael nomination for May’s by-election.
The Senator has told KCLR news he will no longer be seeking the party nomination at next months selection convention.

It means former IFA President John Bryan and Kilkenny Councillor David Fitzgerald will be left to battle it out.
He says he feels it’s not his time but hasn’t ruled out running in the next General election.
