Separate investigations have been launched into two local incidents of car damage.
The first last Sunday (12th April) morning happened in Kildavin, County Carlow.
Garda Niamh Doran outlines the details, telling KCLR News; “He parked his car on the bridge in Kildavin at approximitely eight o’clock, now when he returned at half eleven his right front tyre had four puncture holes in it and the tyre was deflated and again no other vehicle in the area was damaged, it was just his, so if anybody has any information or saw anything our colleagues in Tullow would appreciate a call at 059 9151222”
In the early hours of the following morning, another incident was reported.
Garda Doran says of this one; “Monday the 13th of April criminal damage there in Barrowvale in Graiguecullen in Carlow, a car was parked overnight in the driveway, the owner of the car got up and the rear window was smashed and the ignition was pulled out of the vehicle, very strange, I think it’s from about 5am, anybody going to work around that time, any assistance to Carlow town Garda Station on 059-9136620”.
