Two of the strong contenders for the Talbot Hotel intermediate football championship Ballinabranna and Naomh Eoin served up a thriller at McGrath Park yesterday evening as it finished all square at 2-9 each,
Ballinabranna raced in to a 1-4 to 0-1 lead after twenty minutes the goal coming from Jim Dunne.
A well taken penalty from Adam Kenny brought Naomh Eoin back in to contention.
Six minutes remaining and a Martin Clowry goal edged Naomh Eoin four points clear.
