Carlow man Eamonn Tracey will return from the World Ploughing Championships with a Silver medal.
The Garryhill man was runner-up in the conventional ploughing contest in Kenya.
His Ireland team-mate John Whelan won Gold in the reversible category.
Eamonn still has another World Championships to look forward to in 2018 after being crowned National Champion in Screggan again this year.
