An X Files favourite has signed up to the series reboot – with Mitch Pileggi confirming he’s returning as FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner. Fans of concluded biker drama Sons Of Anarchy will have seen Pileggi on screen there for the past few years in the role of Ernest Darby.
The actor has appeared in all series of the cult sci-fi show – as well as the films – and he’s tweeted he’s ‘very happy’ to sign up.
