Snow and ice warning issued for counties including Carlow and Kilkenny

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice will take effect in Carlow, Kilkenny and across the country tonight.

It comes into play from 11pm until 6am on Monday morning.

Speaking to KCLR News today, Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather dot com temperatures are going to drop overnight:

“It’ll certainly be cold with a risk of wintry showers. They could fall heavy and thick in some areas and not in other areas – it’s very hard to predict.

But certainly something to keep an eye on and if you’re heading further north, up the country, the risk will increase.”
