As most schools return this morning you’re being advised that some local school bus services might not be taking the usual route as flooding persists in some areas.
Bus Eireann says some diversions are in place around the Bagenalstown, Graiguenamanagh, Inistioge, Bennettsbridge and Thomastown areas which could affect some students trying to get to school.
All other services are expected to operate normally from this morning though.
Meanwhile the county councils are warning that extra care is needed on many of the roads that have been affected by the recent flooding with damage to the surfaces and some debris and even spot flooding remaining in places.
And it seems we’re in for more unsettled weather today with wet and windy conditions forecast for later.
