The latest animated feature from Kilkenny’s Cartoon Saloon is to be screened at a film festival in France this weekend.

Song of the Sea which is being hotly tipped to follow The Secret of Kells and get an Oscar nomination will be amongst a number of Irish films show at the Les Arcs Film Festival kicking off today.

The General, Intermission, Michael Collins and In the name of the Father will also be shown.
