Carlow’s set to unveil its new Olympic standard track.
St Laurence O’Toole’s Athletic Club is one of the longest established ACs in Ireland having been set up in the 1920s and has invested €2.5million in date in grant supports from the county council, sports capital grants, LEADER programme and club fundraising.
This morning it will welcome Olympian silver medalist John Tracey (Los Angeles) as well as Ministers of State Thomas Byrne and Malcolm Noonan with Deputy Jennifer Murnane O’Connor and the county’s LEADER CEO Annette Fox.
