Special meeting of Kilkenny county council to consider position on University for South East

A special meeting of Kilkenny county council has been called for this evening to discuss the current situation regarding the Technological University in the South East.

Vice Chairman Pat McKee called for members to consider what they can do as a council to support both IT Carlow and Waterford IT in finding a solution to the current difficulties.

He says its a regional issue and they have to play a part in moving the process forward.

Councillor McKee outlined to Sue Nunn earlier what he is hoping for.
