Special sitting of Carlow district court to deal with aftermath of Operation Storm

There was a special sitting of the District court in Carlow yesterday after a number of arrests were made in the county as part of Operation Storm.

Local Gardai with help from the regional support unit and dog unit carried searched 10 premises and acted on 13 outstanding warrants which resulted in arrests and court appearances.

The operation is expected to continue across the Kilkenny/Carlow division in the coming weeks.
