Speculation’s mounting that an announcement’s due regarding the location of Ireland’s new third level offering for veterinary students.

Kildalton College in Piltown has long been mooted as a potential site – but there are others in the mix for the facility which would be the first outside of Dublin.

Speaking to our Agricultural Correspondent Matt O’Keeffe at today’s National Ploughing Championships, Minister Charlie McConalogue had this to say;
