St Canice’s Cathedral is being transformed in an immersive, colorful, and mind-blowing way for the Starlight by Luxmuralis exhibition.
It opens this evening, and audiences will be immersed in a 360-degree light and sound journey inspired by the guiding star of the Nativity.
The Dean of Ossory, the Very Reverend Stephen Farrell, says the cathedral will be presented in an entirely new way.
“This interactive, immersive display has transformed a glorious medieval building, presenting it in an entirely new, colorful, and mind-blowing way,” he said.
“It builds on many of the ancient traditions inherent to cathedrals, and we’re incredibly excited about it, We hope to attract a wide range of visitors—whether it’s their first time or they’re seasonal visitors—who will experience the cathedral in an entirely different light, pun intended,” he added.
