St. John’s Church has been damaged by vandals

St John’s Church in Kilkenny has been damaged by vandals.

It happened last Saturday just before four in the afternoon.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses

Garda Rob Rasmussen says a candle shrine was damaged in the attack:

“This occurred at approximately 15.55. We believe it was a male suspect who entered the church and caused damage to the candle shrine. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the church who saw somebody acting suspicious or someone acting erratic around the time to contact Kilkenny Garda station.”
