St Lukes Emergency Department could be facing strike action in December

It remains to be seen whether nurses at St Lukes Hospital will be part of a strike next month.

The Irish nurses & midwives organisation balloted members who voted overwhelmingly in favour of industrial action, including a strike on December 15th.

Details of the hospitals that will be affected will be revealed in the coming days but INMO General Secretary Liam Doran says the strike will continue on an on-going basis into the new year until nurses’ demands are met.
