St Lukes General Hospital for Carlow/Kilkenny is once again among the top 10 busiest in the country today.
542 people are waiting for beds in hospitals this morning 20 of those are in the local facility.
INMO figures show 10 of those are in the emergency departments, while 10 are in wards.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 104 patients on trolleys.
That’s followed by 60 at University Hospital Galway.
Meanwhile visitor restrictions remain in place with only one visitor per patient permitted during visiting hours of 6pm to 8pm, unless otherwise authorised by the Ward Manager.
