Staff of Carlow town business recovering after shock hold-up.
KCLR News understands a man threatened those on the premises on the Tullow Road just before 11am yesterday (Sunday) with what’s believed to have been a firearm.
Nobody was injured but the incident has left those who witnessed it shocked a source has told KCLR News.
Gardaí are keen to speak to a man who’s described as being in his early twenties, 5foot5inches in height with a Carlow accent – his face was covered at the time and he fled from the outlet on foot with a small amount of cash.
It follows another, separate armed robbery of another establishment on the Tullow Road in Carlow just after 9pm on the 22nd of August.
In this incident Gardaí are seeking information on a lone male wearing all black, also approx 5’5” and of thin build who took money.
In particular they’d like to hear from anybody with CCTV or dashcam footage.
