Staff at IT Carlow plan industrial action over concerns about proposed mergers

A lecturer at IT Carlow has told KCLR news that he believes there are a number of Flaws in the Technological Universities Bill.

It comes as staff at the local institute begin industrial action on Monday over concerns about Government proposals to merge institutes of Technology around the country.

TUI members at the college will join their colleagues nationwide in what’s being duped ‘a non-cooperation stance’ against the Technological Universities Bill.
