South Kilkenny councillors say they’re ‘in limbo’ when it comes to the continued lack of an opening date for the Ferrybank Shopping Centre.
The premises has been largely vacant since it was built in 2008 and in March of this year it was confirmed that Dunnes Stores had purchased it.
Despite ongoing correspondence between the county council and the purchaser, there’s still no indication as to when it will open.
Cllr Ger Frisby says he and his colleagues will continue to keep the pressure on.
