A local councillor says she has been assured that the street lights in Thomastown should be fixed in the next day or two.
Breda Gardner says she understands wires were damaged by mistake when new lamps were being installed in the town.
But she says Airtricity have told her it has been resolved and lighting should be restored to all areas by today or tomorrow.
