Stretch of road between Bagenalstown and Carlow closed where a lorry has overturned

Emergency services have closed a stretch of road in Carlow after a lorry overturned in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The route affected is the L3044 Bagenalstown to Carlow road between The Harrow Cross and Ballybar.

Crews are working to clear the scene but it remains closed to traffic for now.

Drivers should divert and seek an alternative route this morning.
