The 14th Kilkenny Tradfest gets underway in the Marble City this evening.
It runs until St Patrick’s Day and the lineup’s jam-packed with both legends and up-and-coming talent. (Full programme here).
One of the bigger gigs, in association with the Kilkenny St Patrick’s Festival, takes place in St. Canice’s Cathedral at 7:30pm with Iarla Ó Lionáird, Cormac McCarthy and Aoife Ní Bhriain who will be supported by the Lady Desart Choir.
