Sunday’s Carlow senior hurling round up
St. Mullins and Naomh Eoin brought the best out of each other in a low scoring game at Dr. Cullen Park yesterday evening and at the final whistle the sides had to be content with a draw.
St Mullins led by 0-6 to 0-2 after twenty minutes, Naomh Eoin stepped up led by a point at half time 0-9 to 0-8.
With time up Marty Kavanagh shot over what looked to be the winner for St. Mullins, but with one last throw of the dice Naomh Eoin won a free sixty metres out on the side line at the stand side up steps Dwaine Kavanagh and deadly accurate sent the sliothar between the posts.

In the first game at Dr. Cullen Park,Erins Own encountered little resistance from Naomh Brid as they had opened up a 2-9 to 0-1 lead at the break ,and they continued to dominate in the last period scoring a further 2-5 as the Naomh Brid challenge collapsed
