Surplus food parcels given to St Vincent de Paul in Kilkenny to be distributed in New year

St Vincent de Paul in Kilkenny saw an increase in contributions of food, fuel and other goods this Christmas.

Area President of the Kilkenny branch, Kevin Donoghue, says there is a surplus of food parcels and they will be distributed in the new year.

He says the appeal was very successful this year with local schools and businesses getting involved.
