Swimmers in Kilkenny warned there will be no lifeguards in the Inistioge lifeguarded area today

Swimmers across Kilkenny have been advised by Kilkenny County Council that there will be no lifeguard cover at the Inistioge lifeguarded area today.

However, Graiguenamanagh, The Meadows and The Weir will all remain open.

The local authority has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
