The Taoiseach says he has a ‘cordial and courteous’ relationship with local TD John McGuinness.
Michael Martin, who is in Carlow today to mark the 100th anniversary of the Fianna Fail Party, has been responding to comments made by local TD calling for him to step aside as leader in recent weeks.
Speaking to KCLR News, the Fianna Fail leader says its not the first time John McGuinness has called for him to step aside,
“When I met him about ten years ago he did too and he has his views. My relationship is cordial and courteous and I think Fianna Fail is a broad church and it does facilitate people to speak out.”
