The Taoiseach has committed to meet stakeholders of two local schools whose proposed new campus was left off a key funding list last week.
It had been indicated last year that €50m would be allocated to the new grounds in the western environs for Kilkenny City Vocational School and Colaiste Pobail Osrai with €3.5million already spent on the project.
Micheál Martin on his visit to Graignamanagh was quizzed by Cllr Deirdre Cullen and also Deputy John McGuinness while fellow TD Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere raised the issue in the Dáil yesterday.
