A technical difficulty is being blamed for the failure to make welfare payments to some locals today.
It seems anyone who was due to get a payment into their bank account today is affected.

Bank of Ireland and AIB customers will have their accounts credited this afternoon.
Ulster Bank is offering an emergency payment service to affected customers.
