Temperatures will rise again next week but showers also expected for Kilkenny and Carlow

After the hottest day of the year yesterday with temperatures reaching 28 degrees in Carlow, its going to take a turn today.

Rain is moving in across the country and is expected to reach Carlow and Kilkenny in the afternoon.

But there is good news, Alan O Reilly from Carlow weather dot com says that from Sunday onwards,  temperatures will rise again to 23 or 24 degrees.

Kilkenny and Carlow may see some showers next week but we will have mainly good dry spells.
