Tesco’s plans for New Road site in Kilkenny appealed to planning board

Tesco’s plans for the New road in Kilkenny city have been appealed to an Bord Pleanála.

The council had given the green light to the retailer to build a new supermarket on the site along with 80 new homes and further development.

But an appeal was lodged recently with the planning board.

A decision on whether or not the plans can proceed is due in November.
