Gardaí have confirmed to KCLR news this morning that a body of a man in his early 20’s was recovered from the River Nore in Kilkenny yesterday.
Emergency services, along with the Kilkenny Sub Aqua team and Rescue 117 were all involved with the extensive search.
It began in the early hours of Saturday morning, after a person had been reported missing at 1am.
The mans body was recovered early yesterday, and taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post mortem examination.
