Cultural events like the Kilkenny Arts Festival or Eigse Carlow Arts Festival add a huge amount to the social, cultural, business and economy of the region. The generate economic activity; are a great marketing tool and are often used to attract investors who find that “lifestyle” and “quality of life” are huge factors in attracting staff. Well done to the Wine Centre in Kilkenny who won a couple of titles at the “Off License of the Year” award. Sally Aughney joined us in studio to share some of the secrets of their success which led them to win both Responsible Retailer of the Year and the Leinster Off License of the Year Awards.
