The clock is ticking for anyone not yet registered to vote

Time is running out if you want to be included on the register so you can vote in the General Election.

More than 110 thousand people in Carlow and Kilkenny are registered so far for the February 26th ballot.

Today is the deadline for handing your completed form back into your local council offices to be included on the supplementary register.

Senior Staff Officer in Kilkenny County Council, Catherine Millea says they’re expecting perhaps a couple of hundred people to be added today.

She also told KCLR News that exceptions will be made when it comes to the Garda stamp for those in rural areas where there is no Garda station.
