The closure of Post Offices is destroying communities

An Post cares more about the ‘bottom line’ than sustaining local communities.

That’s according to Tinryland Councillor and shop-owner, Jim Deane.

Carlow County Council have now written to An Post – and a petition has also been sent – asking them to reverse their recent decision to withdraw services from Bilboa.

Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor Deane says numerous post offices have been shut down already in Carlow.
