Wyvern Lingo are a three-piece band from Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, comprising Karen Cowley (vocals, keyboards) Caoimhe Barry (vocals, drums) and Saoirse Duane (vocals, guitar).
They’re friends since school and have been working away on their material and making quite the name for themselves recently. Their hard work is paying off and they’re making new fans with every gig. They’ve been gigging steadily, most notably with Irish international star Hozier with Karen and Caoimhe double jobbing on backing vocal for their Wicklow neighbour. Karen also duets with Hozier on “In A Week” on his bestselling debut album.
They’re on tour and coming to Kilkenny on December 4th where you’ll hear their influences and affecting vocal style underpinned with some fine music holding it all together beautifully. A new EP is on the cards so you’re sure to hear this new material on the night…
