It was great to have Sligo based band The Quakers drop by on their trip to the 2013 Rhythm And Roots Festival. They’re recent converts to this type of music, citing Old Crow Medicine Show as a major influence. They’re certainly channeling lots of energy in their live shows and have a CD out entitled “In The Shade Of A Honey Tree”, which highlights their talents as songwriters and players.
