Charles Chavasse, a vet with Zoetis joined us to discuss the animal issues at play and gave advice on strategies for animal health, specifically in the area of nutrition and medication.
George Ramsbottom of Teagasc spoke to Matt about the personal issues of stress for farmers and how to manage it and the supports that are there for people.
Matt also spoke to Terry Carroll and Michael Fitzgerald of Teagasc on strategies for fodder management, with a strong emphasis on feed balance.
George Collier, Chairman of Carlow IFA joined us in studio to discuss how farmers in the county are managing their way through the current difficulties.
