On tonight’s Glanbia Farm Show, Pat O’Toole of IFJ brought listeners up to date on a range of topical issues including changes to Glanbia’s fixed milk price scheme, the challenges facing the pig sector, disquiet at CAP Information meetings and feed and fodder outlook.
Pat Smith of Local Power Ltd attended the two-day Energy Show in the RDS and chatted to Matt about the renewable energy blockages and opportunities for farmers, including solar, wind and biomethane production.
Bryan Daniels also contributed to the Farmshow, describing the Spring season on his farm in Kilmoganny and highlighting the value of clover in his swards. There will be a Clover Walk on the Daniels farm on Wednesday, 6 April at 11am at Raheenarran, Kilmoganny, Co. Kilkenny, R95 P202.
