The N24 between Kilsheelan and Ballydine has reopened following a fatal road crash yesterday afternoon.

A man aged in his forties died after his van was in collision with a car close to Kilsheelan on the Tipperary side of the border with Waterford.

The driver of the second vehicle, a woman also in her forties, was taken to University Hospital Waterford with serious injuries.

Gardaí are appealing to anybody who was in the area between 1 and 1:30 pm to contact them at Clonmel Station.
