Thomastown feeling the blues as over 100 Gardaí descend

41 people have already been arrested and drugs have been seized as part of Operation Storm in Thomastown and South Kilkenny today.

This latest Garda operation got underway early this morning with searches carried out in areas around the south of the county as well as in Tullow in Carlow.

12 people have been arrested for theft, burglary and drug offences – with €2,000 worth of cannabis found in a search in Glenmore.

A significant amount of fireworks were also seized in Tullow.

15 premises have been searched so far.
