Three Kilkenny Boxers in National Boxing Championship Semis this weekend

The semi-finals of the National Boxing Championships takes place in the National Stadium this coming weekend.

Three Kilkenny fighters are in semi-final action with Keith Flavin, Darren O’Neill and Claire Grace all attempting to qualify for All-Ireland Finals on the week ending 9th March.

Keith Flavin is up against Sean McComb in the semi-final of the lightweight competition and McComb will be favourite to reach the final having qualified for the last 16 of the World Championships in Kazakhstan.

Ollie O’Neill from Paulstown Boxing Club admits it will be a difficult task for the Paulstown teenager to upset the odds.
